UMIMRA

Congresswoman Mary Miller’s office introduced HR 5722 the Upper Mississippi River Levee Safety Act on Sept. 26th in the House of Representatives. UMIMRA has worked closely with Miller’s office and other Congressional offices to get this legislation developed and introduced. Other co-sponsors of the bill were: Congressman Mike Bost (R-IL 16th), Congressman Darin LaHood (R-IL 12th), and Congressman Eric Sorensen (D-IL 17th).

Our focus is now on the Senate to get them to introduce similar legislation.
